Sumava or Bohemian Forest is one of the oldest mountains in Europe. Its length is 190 kilometers and at its widest part you would need to go over 45 kilometers to get on the other side. It is a perfect destination for trips through the whole year with wide selection of tracks for trekking, biking, cross-country skiing, etc. One of many tips for trips would be to visit one of the glacier lakes located more than 1000m above the sea level or a riverhead of second longest river in the Czech Republic, Vltava. It will not make any difference if you will choose to visit a natural reservation, castle, observatory or a small mountain village but would always feel a breath of very clean nature and friendly relaxing environment.
